The NuVJ allows DJs to incorporate images and video clips in much the same way as mixing music. With the NuVJ, the VJ can trigger images and video clips, add effects to them, mix them through an onboard DJ style crossfader and tweak them in order to create unique and spectacular shows. A new Flash player has been added with audio-reactive Flash animation support and input gain control, which is useful for generators, audio-reactive flash and BPM detection. Input gain controls make beat synchronization easier than ever.

The upgrade also features advanced luminance/chrominance keying controls, 11 new effects and a new visuals panel that displays the movie player involved, the codec, the resolution.
